This session will empower participants to shape the conversation, address shared challenges, and explore effective strategies for PBIS implementation. Through peer-led discussions and networking, attendees will build meaningful connections and exchange actionable ideas to support district-wide improvement efforts. Instead of pre-set schedules and presenters, sessions are created on the spot by attendees based on their interests, expertise, and questions.

Direct Instruction lessons are easy for teachers to plan and enact, but they are hard for learners, as they create mimicked behaviors rather than long term understanding. But how do we change a DI lesson into a lesson that allows learners to inquire and investigate in order to develop a persistent understanding? It might not be as hard as you think! Come and learn how to work less so students can think more.
